License Locking Criteria

A Sentinel RMS license can be locked to specific computers, License Managers and/or clients in the network. This allows you to enforce licensing to the systems agreed upon in the license agreement. Your customers need to provide the system locking information to you, which you use to generate license codes. The standard system or custom system identifiers can be used specifying which attributes are used for the locking information of a system. If the locking information embedded in the license code does not match with the system, the licensed application fails to run.

NOTE   The step of locking licenses is optional. If desired, you can generate unlocked licenses as well. See the section below for more details.
